Blinds were invented by the Romans (no surprise there!) they originated
from the peak of the Roman Empire over 2,000 years ago in Rome. As with many other household items created in ancient
times, they were built out of necessity and for a specific function rather than
fashion.
Our Roman Blinds are raised and lowered using a side control chain. This can be fitted on either side of the head rail. We also have an option for a metal control chain with our Roman Blinds.
All our control chains are child safe and will be supplied with a P-clip to fasten the chain.
